Crisis management

There are two important requirements for successfully managing crises.

First, the company must work towards resolving the issues that created the crisis. Secondly, it must act fast to manage the perceptions of the problem amongst its key stakeholders in order to salvage and sustain its reputation and business.

Knee-jerk responses to crises or wishful thinking that the crisis will blow over can only further complicate situations.
