Case Study - Infrastructure
Empowering India's Builders Through Impact-Led Storytelling
As India moved rapidly toward a high-growth future, the construction sector faced a critical inflection point. It employed over 71 million individuals and remained the nation’s second-largest job generator, yet 81 percent of this workforce was unskilled, revealing a significant developmental challenge that demanded urgent intervention.
Against this backdrop, a transformative effort set out to rewrite the narrative on workforce empowerment, productivity, and national progress.
With a defined goal of upskilling more than 6,500 workers across 12 project locations by April 2025, two purpose-led initiatives were launched to enhance site efficiency, strengthen talent readiness, and improve family and community wellbeing.
The campaign unfolded through sustained, multi-phase engagement that brought media directly into the heart of on-ground transformation. Immersive site visits, editorial storytelling, and interactions with workers enabled firsthand understanding of real impact and progress.
Momentum scaled rapidly. Coverage expanded across business, financial, regional, HR, and trade media, supported by two high-impact field experiences that engaged more than 40 leading media outlets.
The result was over 50 meaningful stories across prominent platforms with 100 percent positive sentiment, elevating a niche narrative into a nationally relevant discussion on building a skilled, future-ready workforce.
