Arwa Husain is a key member of the senior management team at Adfactors PR, serving as Director - Financial Services. She leads the firm’s largest practice area – the Financial Services vertical – which is widely regarded as one of the most expansive BFSI practices under one roof in Asia. The Financial Services vertical has been the principal contributor to Adfactors PR making it to the US-based PRovoke Media’s list of the ‘20 Best Financial PR Agencies in the World’ in February 2026.

Having joined Adfactors PR in 2006, Arwa played a defining role in building and scaling up the firm’s financial services franchise. She provides strategic, board-level counsel to clients, manages high-impact relationships with editors and bureau chiefs across leading media houses, and leads multi-location and multi-layered teams to deliver complex, reputation-led mandates.

Her portfolio spans large Indian and multinational banks, investment banks, private equity and venture capital funds, life and general insurance companies as well as the start-up eco-system, including fintech players.

She has been advising clients across the spectrum and complexity – from private equity firms executing high-value transactions to nationwide retail financial institutions – navigating constant regulatory, reputational and operational scrutiny. Her clients include marquee financial brands such as ICICI Bank, ICICI Lombard, Tata Capital, General Atlantic, Aditya Birla Capital, Bain Capital and Groww.

With close to three decades of professional experience, Arwa began her career in journalism with a leading financial daily in Mumbai before moving into equity research and subsequently transitioning into public relations – a journey that gives her a rare, integrated perspective on media, markets, and corporate strategy.

She holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Mumbai University.
